#1 brake calipers with 2,88 differential from XJ-S

Post by carlv12 » Thu Mar 24, 2016 7:55 pm

Hello,

there are different stories about upgrading an E-Type V12 with a 2,88 differential from XJ-S:

1) must I use the XJ-S brake calipers instead of the E-Type ones?

2) must I use the XJ-S hand brake brake calipers instead of the E-Type ones?

I hope here on this Forum there are a few experts that already have done this conversi?n and know bout this question.

Thank you in advance and best regards from Valencia (Spain)

Carlos

I changed the diff on my s2 from the 3.54 to the xjs 2.88 and reused the original brake calipers and handbrake, without problems.
