#1 Removing seats from a 2+2

Post by malcolm » Mon Mar 25, 2019 4:00 pm

Hi, my Haynes manual says that on a 2+2, you can lift out the bottom seat cushion to access the 4 nuts which hold the unit in place. Doesn't seem to be the case on my 1969 series 2 2+2.
If I slide the seat right forward, I can get to the back 2 nuts, but how do I get to the front 2?

Hi Malcom...remove 2 rear screws/bolts.....nothing to undo on front its held by mushroom top retainer....so either move seat forward or backwards( cant remember which) and lift out...Steve
