#1 '63 turn signal stiker ( finger)

Post by TOPDOWN » Wed Jun 20, 2018 1:43 am

Gents
While we are fresh on the steering column , could someone please post a picture and length of the turn signal striker . Ours is not reaching the nylon self cancelling arms. I think we have a broken finger tip but not sure.
this is on a 63 with cross hatch aluminum if that helps date it any ( if there were any differences in striker style).
Thanks guys
Carroll

Hi,
I can’t give you the size but these are pics from my late ‘63 restoration:

Thank you very much, the one we have seems to be a lot shorter, probably broken but had such a clean brake it almost looked factory. I do not know if there is another striker for the XKE that is shorter like ours.
Your pictures are much appreciated my friend !
