#1 brake master cylinder push rod adjustable or not ?

Post by Polse7317 » Mon Jun 25, 2018 4:13 pm

I am refurbishing the brakes on my serie 1 and i see on the manual an adjustable brake master cylinder push rod on the top master cylinder for the rear brakes and a NON adjustable one for the lower one for the front brakes.

Is it correct ? i have actualy two non adjustable one ..... and my brakes are blocked after 2 or 3 foot press on the pedal and i can't adjust them !!!
:scratchheadyellow: thank's for the advices

Yes. One rod needs to be adjustable to allow for correct setting of freeplay.
