#1 Very early handbrake / parking brake calipers

Post by commemorative74 » Tue Sep 04, 2018 9:44 pm

I am currently negotiating with a chap in Germany who apparently has for sale a very early (supplied on the first 89 or so UK roadsters 3.8) set of manual adjustment hand brake calipers. As you can appreciate these are like Hens teeth if what he is saying is correct.

Would anyone have a photo(s) they could post or know where I could view a detailed image(s) so I can compare.

Thank you in advance.

Alex

There’s a section in the workshop manual on the early manually adjusted calipers.

Aren't these the same as on the XK150?

If so, they are not that uncommon...
