Front brake flexi hose mounting bracket - Photos
#1 Front brake flexi hose mounting bracket - Photos
Could someone please post a picture of the front flexi hose bracket for a s1 3.8, the one on the picture frame not the hub. I have a selection that don't appear correct and can't find info on suppliers web sites, nor pictures on the web.
Thanks in anticipation.

I'd be interested as well. Mine has two distinctly non original looking stainless steel brackets.....

Thank you both, Steve, I have now trawled through all 13 pages of Factory Fit and found 3 photos on which to base a decision. Interestingly there is a big difference between 3.8 and 4.2, not only in shape and location but also in how the flexible hose is presented to the hub bracket. The 3.8 faces forward and the 4.2 presents to the outside of the frames. There must be a reason as the 4.2 bracket is far more complex, larger and must have been more expensive to buy. Perhaps there were issues on the 3.8’s with the hose fouling or being stretched through too great an arc?
To confuse matters more the S3 goes back to a 3.8 design, curioser and curioser
Thanks again

My bits and pieces look just like Tadeks although I think a previous owner has cut stainless steel sheet for the brackets.....They are metal finish and seem not to rust so I presume t hey are ss.
