Morning all,
Having trawled here and xkedata, I cannot find the name of this colour:
I am guessing that it might be a modern paint colour, unless someone can help?
TIA!

That looks like opalescent dark blue to me. Same colour as my car.
Regards
Stuart

Hi Richard....have a look at 860005 on xke data....its odb and has quite a few photos..the group photo on the page look similar to your photo...the rest look darker....but exact colour is very difficult to see on a computer screen..this car was i think restored at CMC so you could contact them for paint code....Steve

Thanks, both!
Helps narrow down the detective trail - it was the grey tinge that was particularly attractive, but I guess sunlight makes everything different!
Did also realise that Turrino wheels are UK based - they might help...
Now back to the interior negotiations...I want oxblood...my 'passenger' wants tobacco!
Cheers

OK, this is now my favorite E-type color. Beautiful!
