Hi Robbie,
I converted to a dynamator two months ago; no change to the loom necessary
Voltage regulator has no more function, I removed the innards from mine and used its terminals as cable connectors. If your car is pos earth (as mine), you need an additional relay (behind the dash) for the warning light (converting the voltage from the white wire coming from fuse #6 from negative to positive)

Hi Mark
Many thanks, that’s good to hear
What make is the dynamator?
So you’ve kept the car +ve earth?

Does anyone know if the clock works equally well on neg or pos earth?

Hi
I’m only upgrading one bit of my ‘62 OTS...I’m swapping the dynamo to alternator(probably a dyno look a like one)
AFAIK the "Dynator" etc have the same wiring connections as your old generator although I've never used one. So a standard loom should suffice.
