Post by BAI2958 » Fri Aug 23, 2019 12:39 pm

Hi Guys,

Can anyone Help ?

I need to find a mobile phone holder for my Series 1 DHC.
There's a lot of models out there to choose from but i wondered if anyone in the forum
had done the leg work & found the best solution/model etc ??

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks
Marc

I use one of these but no longer available on Amazon:

Holds the phone in either portrait or landscape and is very secure.

However you will find a similar item on Amazon if you search on: IWIO Wireless Car Charger, Qi Car Charger Phone Holder:

Or this one from eBay: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fast-Car-Wir ... pP3nkkEtQw

Most of the holders currently being offered don't have a screen mount for some reason but they are the only ones that will work on the E-Type.

With a slim rubber case/skin or a bit of non-slip mesh on the dash top, I have successfully propped my iPhones between the dash cover and windscreen for thousands of miles touring. They can fall into your lao if you boot it but you learn to prop it in advance.

Try searching the internet. There are many companies that deal with this. I personally won the other day in an Instagram contest a wireless charger and phone case, and this was my first win in such competitions. I didn't really like the quality of that phone case because I'm already used to always buying unique custom phone cases and personalizing them exactly as I like, with different quotes or images I want. Anyway, I gave the phone case to a friend as a little attention because I had nothing to do with it, but the wireless charger really fits me because I wanted to get one for a long time.
