Does any one know what colour was used on the 3.8 seat shells?

The original was BS381C 694 Dove Grey. For our seats, GB Classic Trim used the modern replacement code RAL7030 (stone grey) which came out well.

This was also used on the hood frame and was a very close match to some of the original paint that was still present once it was stripped back.
