While i am fitting new wiring connections for the leds in the dash after a switch from +earth to - earth , i saw 2 wires non connected from the wiring loom of the steering column: a big clothed one blue/ yellow
and another clothed one "maroon" .
On the wiring diagram i see the B/Y going to "dipperswitch" ( what is the dipper switch and where is it in the dash? ) i think those wires are there for a flashing headlight function ( stand-by because my car is a american one ) but before i reconnect those and make a mistake .... i am sure someone here will solve my question
PS: the "maroon" wire seems to be connected with a purple one from the dash because i have not any purple wire coming from the column loom.

Dipperswitch = high/low beam headlights. Long switch on speedo/tach dash panel.
Headlamp flasher is one the indicator - pull towards you to flash.
