Good day,

If nobody has an earlier date, we could as per today agree that the aluminum tags were used until 11/62.

Hi Maikel, what other numbers are on the plastic tags?

Happy to share,

I am posting some pics I have taken, as you can see, one is clutch the other is brake.
Hope you can assume what is what.

clutch dated 12 62
VBM 4705 assuming
C. 19967

lower brake master dated 12 62
VBM 4706
C. 19968

assuming upper brake master dated 12 62
VBM 4707
C.19969

Maybe someone can confirm. It seems the plastic tags did have a consecutive number where then the date of inspection had been squeezed in.

I still have the original ones fitted to my brake master cylinders. The clutch one disappeared at some point and wasn't on the car when I got it.

Hi,
There is a very nice bloke on ebay that is selling the stamped aluminium tags - 1961 to early '62. He has maybe 20 sets left.
He cut these over 5 years ago and only had questions for the drawing. Please don't contact him for a drawing.
Hope I'm not breaking a forum rule David.
Regards
Keith
