#1 rear lights reproduction or originals?

Post by chronomatik » Tue Sep 05, 2023 2:56 pm

Hi, one rear light on my 3.8 s1 ots has cracked (the metal part) and both are quite pitted. I was looking at the modern reproductions available from the usual vendors for circa 150 pounds each, vs buying a good used set and maybe re-chroming them.

Has anyone has experience of the reproductions and if so are they generally good copies of the original units?
I am not looking to build a concours winning car, but a good looking driver.

thanks very much

Nick

I have a passenger side (if that is the one you need) one in fair condition if you are interested.

Note:Top ridge has no double buble, it is straight which I think is for OTS.

Note that there are different light units depending on chassis number and model.....Steve

I sent back a set of new made lights as they were miles off fitting my OTS. I had my originals re chromed and they fit like a glove.
