Just on the hunt for an economical radiator replacement and it seems like this automatic version could be a bit of a bargain at £140?
https://www.moss-europe.co.uk/radiator- ... 2-aab.html
Guessing that the two silver connections could be blanked off?
Other than originality, any other caveats I'm missing?
TIA,
Richard

#2 Re: Radiator query
Hi Richard
It certainly seems like a bargain at 16% of the normal cost and I would guess Moss just want to get rid of it. The two silver connections are presumably an oil cooler for the automtic transmission fluid. The question is does the additional oil cooler make the overall radiator size greater than normal or is the oil cooler contained within the header tank?
Maybe someone with an auto car can chime in with a comment.

#3 Re: Radiator query
Thanks, Mike.
I have scoured the technical guides and parts handbook but not clear as to whether it is a multipurpose rad or whether the header tank is one entity.
Worth a look at their clearance section as there are some other bargains on Fosseway brakes and even a rear crank seal conversion at significant reductions, as well as free postage over £150!
Hoping an automatic owner might chime in, ideally before Moss sell out!!

Maybe you should ask Moss for the exterior dimensions. If they are the same as your existing rad, assuming you have one, then I would risk it particularly with free postage!

Thanks all!
Will take a punt and see - no original to compare to but they offer a return service if it's not right
Fingers crossed!
