According to Clausager the cross pattern came in at 860913.It didn't even come out of the car when last restored in the 80s and to preserve it the PO covered the centre console section in vinyl which I personally took off. Got a few scratches and matches the age of the car. As 860927 it was the 15th RHD FHC with this pattern.adam wrote:Not sure on the cut of point for dash pattern, mine has a dot pattern which is original and is higher build number than 860912.

Mine isn't in great condition so I'll file away the tip about wet blasting for the future.
There was an original cross-hatch panel on ebay recently with a code PR4B on the back. You will need to scroll to the final image to see it.

Anyone know if that code is original and if so what is the significance of it?

Perhaps a PO took out all the cross hatch metal work, and replaced it with an original set of dot pattern who knows.

It's been advertised numerous times....each to his own..but that price is daft....it took me a while to get a replacement centre consol in the cross hatch for mine, and with my old damaged original centre section I made myself a new radio panel...keep looking....they do come up

Last year I bought on ebay a similar NOS alloy facia panel (dotted one, not cross hatched) for less than one tenth of this price!

I am in contact with SNG to check if they har replacement with cross hatch pattern. They said they might, but on the WEB it only say dotted pattern. Anyone with any tips on where to get the cross hatch? The panel on Ebay is the dash which I already have. It is the center top console and the panel for the radio console I need.
