Not a Marston radiator, although it appears to have their ID plate...

incorrect headlights but that probably acceptable. Looks nice though. Not sue why you would change the headlights. I must say it looks a lot like an older restoration but thats probably unfair without a close look.

I think they are the sealed beam headlamps that were fitted to non UK spec cars, or at least some of them.

I took the Marston tag plate off my original radiator and put it on the replica, nothing wrong with that imo.
The breather should go under the carbs so that's an easy fix.

Dave
Just pointed out that the radiator isn't original (or even a Marston knockoff). Certainly not wrong, just a little odd.

Nice car with a few 'faults' (breather pipe, radiator, useless spare tyre) but someone has been paying attention - Michelin XVS 185 tyres - so superb handling. They do seem inordinately proud of the boot though. Anyone found out how much they are asking?

three cars later than my own car 860897. Interestingly it has roadster seats, an inconisitency I would have thought would have been sorted by September 62 when mine was built. Nice to see so many survive.

My '62 FHC has original roadster seats and a flat bulkhead. I think they look better, but do not fit me well. Raking mine back just a bit during restoration.

It makes sense that some FHCs have roadster seats, if they run out of FHC seats as the cars go down the line they'll just use the OTS ones for a bit, 860927 also has original OTS seats

So does my March '62 FHC.

I also think that they look better and it's not that uncommon. It's mentioned in several publications.
