E type series 2 2+2 same shell as E type V12 ????

#1 E type series 2 2+2 same shell as E type V12 ????

Can anyone tell me Is the series 2 2+2 E type shell the same as a V12 e type
I know the bulkhead is different and outer 1/4 Panels but is floor pan and tunnel also rear suspension mounts and dimensions the same ??
could one be used to restore a V12

Any help input greatly appreciated

I doubt it. Some panels are the same but the 6-cyl bulkhead supports only 6-cyl frames, which won't hold a V12 engine. The S3 rear floor is deeper for the fatter tank and the S3 suspension is wider than the 6.

So if you try to squeeze S3 parts into an S2 shell and ask "Does my XYZ look big in this?" The answer will be "Yes".

Thanks Peter i thought it may be a long shot, just wanting to get my roadster restored as the rust monster has been happily at work and shell is touch and go , this series 2 2+2 has been offered and i just wanted to check over the possibility,
