My Series 2 is British Racing Green. I believe the paint code is PPG 43907. Can anybody please provide the Jaguar Paint Code? :thankyouyellow:

Roger : there is a warning that needs to be given in relation to BRG, particularly if you are wanting to match an existing painted car, and it is that over the years there were umpteen different versions of it used by Jaguar ( and of course if the car has been repainted in the past it may be in any one of them ) . Consequently, it is fairly vital before buying any significant quantity of it to take an unfaded part along to see if it matches. The back of the fuel filler flap is a favourite for this

Thanks for info.
Car was repainted in 1997/8. Colour unknown but it isn't Brooklands nor Connaught Green. Took the filler cap to a paint supplier but they were unable to scan it as it was too curved. Took the car in today and the computer said "no colour match"!
I have ordered a small touch up for BRG from year 1969 to see if that matches, but this could be a long process to find a paint to touch up a few stone chips etc.

Solved it! Paint code is 5038 - a perfect match.
