#1 Boot/trunk trim colour roadster

Post by Monkeyfinger » Wed Mar 27, 2019 12:57 pm

I have an early series 2 OTS, and want to make sure I get the boot trim colour correct. I've seen some reference to the trim being biscuit coloured - was that standard for all trim options (this is a white car with black interior), or should it be black? I've known the car since 1977, but I think there was no trim in the boot when my dad bought it, and I've since added black side panels and carpet. I'd like to fit something if better quality and so first I need to get the colour correct!

pretty sure they were all biscuit. the sides are a pressed board (cardboard) material with the tan colored surface bonded to it. the bottom is a hardura in tan.
this is the original trunk setup in my regency red / black 1969 S2.

but I could be wrong.. just ask my wife

Thanks Bob. I'm sure you're not wrong as often as I am...
