In the process of restoring my 2+2 I thought it would be nice to add some armrests, as the doors already have the bolting points there; however on ordering the armrests from Aldridge Trimming I discovered that the bolt centres are 137mm compared to 166mm on the door!.........29mm adrift!
Has anyone else come across this problem and how did you solve it?
Many thanks.

Aldridge Trimming have stated that some of the 2+2's were fitted with torpedo armrests, which mine apparently is, hence the slightly increased bolt centres. Is anyone aware of having torpedo armrests fitted to their car?
