I have just started the restoration process on my 1970 2+2. Have it stripped down and have had a good look at the rust situation. My LHS floor pan need replacing as does the outer sill. Inner sill looks solid with only a small hole near seat mount. Welding is beyond my skills, does anyone know of a good welder in the South wales area that I could use?

thanks

Steve

Hi, I know it is not quite south wales but the guy I use is excellent. he is century classics (google it) based in Lambourne near Newbury.
He hasn't welded mine - although he always has at least 2 E-types on the go and many other classics - he is pretty booked all the time and hard to pin down on dates so be warned. But what he doesn't know about E-types you don't want to know - in the 4 years I've known him he must have had a dozen thru the garage and he does them properly!
I would always get it done by an expert and do it once - had previous jobs done cheap and paid twice
good luck
Steve
