#1 Smiths clock in my Ser3 is working again!

...but I've cheated.

Now running on German made 1.5V electronic workings with original needles. Time adjustment on the rear of the clock now. Battery brought external to the housing with wires for easy replacement.

EDIT: Cost me less than GBP40.00.
Best Regards
Philip

Nice! Right now I keep my clock disconnected since I don't want it to run the battery down. Who did you buy the new guts from?

The clock repair shop here in Pretoria where I took it supplied the works and fitted it. Therefore any clock repairman worthy of the name should be able to do similar.
