I'm in the process of a re-spray and unable to find a replacement vent cover for the rear door air extractor. It's the black plastic scoop on the inside and the one I have is broken.
The 3 main dealers: Robey's, Manners' and SNG do not have it and I wondered if anyone could give me a steer in the right direction as to where to find a replacement?
It made me think that some clever person should set up a business of selling E types parts made from 3D printing!
Many thanks,
Where to find rear door vent cover part BD38987?

Did anyone find a source of this part? It's not the chrome grille but what fits on the inside of the rear hatch. I suppose the function is to prevent exhaust fumes entering while allowing the fresh air ventilation to operate properly. I have a not great photograph of the part but I think that it should have two flap valves - possibly rubber or sponge- which are missing in the picture that CMC sent me.
It appears to be made of metal not plastic. I can't find anyone who supplies this part so it looks like I will have to make it but a decent photo, with dimensions, of one in good condition wouldn't half help.
