I just put that piece through Google translate Sven. Astonishingly good English came back in the blink of an indicator... It couldn't manage Masse on its own ("mass") but got Massekabel correct. That's another white-collar job sector (translators) that will soon be extinct....

Hi Jeremy,

"Masse" can be translated as "mass" or in this case as "ground connection".
Perhaps I should write just - and + :drinkingcheers:

Basically I have written a german comment because I saw that the question came from Germany and I couldn't 100% translate the answer even I'm used to communicate in english.

Next time I will try to write it completely in English :wavegreatbritain:

best regards

Sven

Sven, if my german was one tenth as good as your english I would feel very proud! :salute: Trouble was, when I was learning it, I would go to Germany, try out my best german on the locals, and invariably they would answer in perfect english!

Sorry to reply so late. I was on holiday.

Thanks Mark and thanks Sven. It was exactly as you said. I removed the whole light polished the connections a bit. Now it's working again. Let's see how long this last.

By the way where to get some new screws for the lightcase?

Thanks!

I got them from SNG Barratt for my S2, not sure if these are the same for the S3. Part number C33952-F for the S2.

I seem to have a closely related problem on the 3rd ladt 420G, sold new in Belgium with the Hazard warning light accessory.
When activating the right blinker, the small front repeater, on the left side also blinks, but not the main left blinker. The 2 on the front right, and the rear right blink as they should.
When I activate the Hazard warning lights, the small front left repeater light does not blink, but the other 5 do.
Very weird....
