See attached pic.

Hello Stefan,
The nut indicated in the attached picture and another out of picture at the other end of door handle have to be removed. The clip, also indicated, needs to be removed so that the link enclosed in the spring can be slid off of the pin that the clip engaged with. I find that a pair of thin, pointy nosed pliers are best to remove the clip. Grip the narrow section of the clip between the two parallel parts of the clip and pull upwards as indicated by the upward pointing arrow in the attached picture.

Once the two nuts have been removed and the link between the door handle and the door latch has been unfastened, the door handle can be removed from the door.

Regards,

Bill

Thanks bill! Strangely there is no other nut on the other end of the handle. Mainly that's the cause why the handle is so lax. Hopefully i can fix this as well.

Thanks Bill,

But how to i remove the mirrors? I'm not able to check any screws from inside the door.

Hello Stefan,
Your door mirror will have the same base as shown in the first picture below (picture 1). The joint between the base and the pillar is spring loaded to provide a breakaway system in case the assembly is bumped. This also allows the pillar to be turned 90deg relative to the base to expose the attaching screws; see the second picture below (picture 2).

Regards,

Bill
