South Africa used to:
- Have splendid roads
- Build nukes
- supply clean water and electricity for its towns and cities
- have a president we could respect and be proud of
- have a currency that was worth something
- have an economy that was growing strong
Now all of the above are just fond memories ...
BUT!!!
We can still build aluminium radiators for V12 E-types

#2 Re: Aluminium Radiator
Hello Philip,
No offense meant, but, what a horrible looking thing to be putting into an E Type. If I were to be contemplating an aluminum radiator, I would opt for one that looks the part.

#3 Re: Aluminium Radiator
As horrible as it might be to you Bill, to me it is a beautiful piece of (local) craftmanship. I do concede that the TIG welding is not first grade, but once installed, it will be invisible.
The same people made a radiator for my Jensen Interceptor 7.2L which can sit in traffic in our severest summer with AC on, running with original fans.
I therefore believe this one will be equally effective.
This radiator cost me about GBP560. Delivered to my door.

#4 Re: Aluminium Radiator
Nice work.
I have similar radiators in both my 3.8 OTS and my 4.2 coupe. As in RSA we commonly get summer temperatures over the old 100F mark here and effective cooling is mandatory.
