#1 Fuel & Temp Guage problem

Post by Dblebill » Sun Jul 01, 2018 3:07 pm

Hi all, can anyone please help me sort the fuel and temperature guages on my S3. Until recently all the guages worked as normal but now the fuel guage only reaches the quarter mark even when the tank is full - the sender unit was replaced 6,000 miles ago. At the same time the fuel guage started playing up the temperature guage now only moves slightly past the first mark, when it used to go between a quarter and half. All the other guages work as normal, I checked the wiring connectors and changed the fuse but that didn’t fix the problem. Any suggestions gratefully received.

This sounds like the "voltage stabiliser" is no longer working correctly. Get new one or fit new guts as per this thread:7810
