ECU on EFI cars
#21 Re: ECU on EFI cars
You ignore Roger Bywaters advice at your peril, my friend. He has forgotten more about the Jaguar V12 than most of us know. I look forward to seeing how this new tech works in a V12. Good luck, I shall watch with interest.

Not ignoring Roger, far from it. My 16CU ECU is UK version, DAC4119, does not have Lambda feedback. For Lambda (exhaust gas oxygen sensing) I would have needed the US version, DAC4118. According to Roger the maps in these versions are different. Copy of Rogers advice here: https://1drv.ms/b/s!AiSPBKa26IcchMtb-oZz_2BROp_QCg
I want fully utilised lambda feedback, my EFI is for improved efficiency. If performance was my overriding criteria, as per Phil (and Woofi) I would stick with carbs.
I also looked at the Emerald K6 and liked it, except for the price and the fact that it couldn’t do full sequential. They suggested I use two ECU’s for this … then I discovered the new Adaptronic.
