Hi there

I just realised my e type is missing the long flexible pipes that lead from the footwells to the front/top of the bonnet! No wonder its so hot in there! Only had the car 30 years

I looked at the obvious suppliers but they were extremely expensive for what looks like a fairly ordinary bit of pipe.... Does anybody know some place to get these?

thanks for any help

Various options here:
https://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/ducting
I'm sure there will be other suppliers as well, its a fairly standard product.
Cheers

Hi Kevin,
I suspect I am pointing out the obvious, but early Series III cars didn’t have the footwell ventilation. If you have the holes in the bulkhead and bonnet then you can fit them, otherwise you have to modify the car. My car does not have them, though the bonnet does have the holes as it was a second hand replacement. My bulkhead does not have the holes, although I was given new ones, complete with the holes when I bought the car as a restoration project. I had to weld up the holes. Perhaps I should have kept them and converted it! It would have been just as easy.

Just pointing this out for those that aren’t aware.

Regards,

Simon
