#1 new alternator fitting
Have bought a new alternator for the s3 and am wondering wether anyone has fitted one to replace the original , what happens to the original voltage regulator and connections .

Now Sir,
I have fitted a denso, by WOSP, and its great, you don't connect the brown/green to the alternator, only the brown/red for the low volt light in Dash and main power Brown. That wire runs to regulator connector, and you need that, as the wire to the light runs from the back of that connector, but can unplug the regulator and remove. You can also then if you like remove the plate the regulator sat on to lighten your S3 by about half an ounce more.
