Hi,
it is quite easy, there is a bracket (C35944) "behind" the manifolds.
So you put the heatshields on, put the spring through the hole and hook it in the bracket.
Best regards
Sven

What attaches the bracket or is it the spring that holds the bracket?

The spring and bracket just pull the heatshield against the manifolds and so stop it rattling. In practice, it is a complete waste of time and effort to bother with this as the heatshield doesn't really have anywhere to move to and you can't hear the rattling anyway. It is made of stainless steel and isn't going to fall apart anytime soon in the next fifty years. I wouldn't waste any time or money on a spring and a bracket that don't do anything useful especially when there is no consequence of their being missing and in a location where no one can see whether they were there anyway.

Thanks Marek, so it is literally the spring that holds it. I have the induction manifolds and mud shields off currently so will see how easy it is to fit in situ.
