Bit of a discussion in the General forum about fitting new IRS mounts, seems to me S3 has particular problems but are underrepresented.

Has anyone else tried to fitt SNGB's superstiff polyurethane IRS mounts on an S3?

No, I fitted standard ones and had the usual issues as covered in the extensive thread you’ve attached. Does the IRS flex excessively with standard mounts anyway? Unless for full on racing suggest hard rubbers not the best choice, will likely make a difficult job even harder.

Just for info CliveR over on Jag Lovers has done some tests on available irs mounts....here are his comments..
To put in context with some numbers - I bought three mounts from one of the leading suppliers, described as Genuine, Aftermarket and Uprated. My tests gave the following results for lateral stiffness:
Genuine: 620 N/mm (3550 lbf/in)
Aftermarket: 246 N/mm (1400 lbf/in)
Uprated : 600 N/mm (3450 lbf/in)
