Hi Philip,

is it your car ? I can see that this one has not got the changes done on your OTS with megasquirt. Do you plan to remove the carbs and fit EFI on the engine ?

Michel

Hi Michel

I'm in the process of buying it, so it will be mine soon.

This car is in exquisite condition and goes better than new as is. This car has already been upgraded with modern electronic ignition (Lumenition) and a vacuum advance module on the dissy and thus runs really well and happy. Since my OTS, I have also improved my carb knowledge and experience and now feel more confident to deal with carbs than what I was with the OTS.

So, no, this one I will keep as is. IF the BW 3sp auto should pack up (no reason to think it will), I will rather upgrade the transmission to a TH700 or 4L60 before trying to repair the BW. Just like my Jensen, this car is also begging for an overdrive 4th.
