Y have now fixed on a thick metal piece the circuit breaker and it looks like y wanted .
Image
Y am now on the hatch vinyl pannel fittings . and y am very disapointed because y made a mistake setting the hatch glass and it's chrome beading before sliding and sticking the vinyl pannel of the hatch ...! y have to take off the glass
Before:

Image
Y also must fit a "pvc snake" around the hatch aperture and it seems to me quite difficult to do . Y don't know how it was installed at the factory.

If someone has the solution for this job, y am very interested....!

Nice work Yves, coming beautifully together.
On a brief note pvc=vinyl.
Bonne continuation,

I thought that the thick pvc which is in the BAS kit was replaced by the"vinyl" which is fitted on the hatch panel for instance ?

As the hatch vinyl is sticking, i went on the head liner. After a first mistake sticking the HL at the right place in front, which became wrong at the rear corner  i did it more carefully for the second time ( with an other HL.... I drawed a line in the middle going from the front end to the rear one and put the neoprene only on the 1/3 of the surface in the middle , i fixed the front end on this line to the roof . So i push the headliner against the roof while my son behind was holding the HL in the right direction. Then i sticked the rest of the surface until one inch along the edge . After a while, i cut carefully the edges of the HL and take out the Under foam so the thickness is much thin so it must be less difficult to fit the other liner which goes down

Image

warming room :!: ImageImageImage
While all this HL is sticking in the car with a heating fan Inside , i began the examination of the cantrails.(CR).... and i wonder how taking off the chrome bead (1) along the edge of the CR without bending it or opening it too much...? it seems difficult to do as to reinstall it on the CR. My other problem is to keep the moulded foam which is beetween the CR metal blade and the vinyl upon it ?

Thanks all of you, I think I have done a good job before driving it on the road :) But now that I am on the interior trimming...... it's a very different thing quite hard as I see at the beginning
:?
I have to prepare each step and be very carefull about the sticking planning in a good order! For the cantrails I have to take out the rubber of the side window , drill some of the pop rivet already holding the U metal profile which hold the rubber seal , and keep the right holes to screw the cantrails ! Before I must fit the PVC "seal" around the hatch aperture :( which is another "fight"

After a short night..... I began to stick the hatch pvc seal . I have heated the car with a heater fan and heated the seal itself which became more smooth. After drilling the holes for the hatch level bracket at the right place , I have sticked the seal quite easily for those first inches.....I'll see tomorow if it's ok to continue.... :?:

Y have sticked the seal after some hours .....and when Y wanted to close the hatch, this one could'nt close as it should . The pvc thickness is too much and the hatch rub against it .....So I have to take the seal out and stick the blue vinyl instead of PVC .

After a problem of a carb float which has sunk ! I come back on the headliner and prep of cantrails. I have sticked the edges of the head liner before fitting the "curtains" around
Image
It was quite hard to insert the cantrails cloth Under the roof when the rof turns ! I have to take out the Windows rubber seals to drill the holes for fixing the cantrails .

Image
Image
I have also fitted the connection for the rear light that I have forgotten !
I have also sprayed some liquid wax in every "cavity" that's why there are some tape on all the holes to avoid having the "wax " evrywhere !

I have finished fitting the rear interior light with a great pleasure (1)
Image
(2 are the "bump" of the pop rivets , they will be hidden by the cantrails)
I'll be busy tomorow with the front panel above the windscreen and the cantrails..... :?
