So I guess mine is ok since the adjustment screws seem to do their job correctly. I will Check that again tomorrow.

Hi, I am very pleased with Vicarage supplied power rack which while reducing number of turns lock to lock, gives good feel and more ' planted ' at speed. Unit is based a Ford product - original Saginaw P/S pump is maintained.

Hi Phil,
What did the Vicarage rack cost, if you don’t mind me asking.
Best

I have seen two of the Ford based conversions both of which were bolted straight to the picture frame, so there is no compliance in the system (other than the tyres). I was led to believe that they are LHD Ford Mondeo units but I haven't tried to verify this.

Kiley Clinton are currently offering to convert an original Jaguar LHD rack to RHD for £895+VAT https://www.steering-racks.co.uk/jaguar ... ring-rack/.

Marek is always a great source for guidance and information. As for me, the adjustment valve from Classic Jag in Austin Texas has been on my car for 20 years, I love it, and it might just accomplish what your looking to achieve. Thats my 2 cents.
