Hi all. Am three months into resurrecting my 1970 S2 DHC after languishing for 28 years. Had previously rebuilt the engine and brakes and had it on the road in fair weather. Stripped all of the chrome, rubber, and glass off in prep for painting and there it sat for 28 years. After rebuild of the carbs and tune up, engine cranked and purrs with 40-60 psi oil pressure! Back through the brakes, clutch hydraulics, shocks, suspension joints and rubbers, wheels, and tires. Ready for a road test and couldn't get it in gear with engine running. Due to wealth of knowledge on this forum, clutch has been freed after many iterations. Now on to body work and paint. Many thanks for the help and look forward to learning much more.
Mike 1970 S2 DHC

Mike, welcome to the forum. It's a great place for help and advice, all done in a very friendly way and with humour included.
Post photos of your car and keep us aware of how you get on. Remember to ask questions, even if they sound silly, we've all been there and learned from each other.
Good luck
Geoff
