On the back of a Lucas RB340 v.r. there are three tubular items connecting metal tabs...what are these items?

Thanks, David.
When my RB340 failed I replaced it with another unit and all is well now.
Please look at the back of my failed unit...it appears one of the wire wound resistors has burned out. Can this be easily and cheaply repaired?
