Hi all,
My name is Erik Luysterborg ( erikantwerp) and I have been quite inactive for quite some years but luckily still have my good old etype fhc series one 4.2 . I just wanted to reintroduce myself briefly as I recently found the time to not only upgrade my car but also to enjoy driving it again as work prohibited somewhat my ability to take the time and drive my wonderful car. I am really looking forward learning and contributing where I can from/ to this excellent forum !!
A few personal messages :
@ Pete (Crespin) : we recently moved villages and now live in Schilde ( not too far from where I lived before) so feel free to come on by should you be back in Belgium.
@ Phil ( Belgium): let me know next time you want to organize another visit to Spa in September! Next time I am in !
@David (Heuer) : many thanks for all of your great advice ( Just fyo, I am still looking for an original etype key fob )
@ Angus, Ralph and a lot of people I might have forgotten: Should there be some interest, I am thinking of organizing after 10 years another etype rallye in 2019 in Belgium visiting some of Belgium finest “trappist monastry” beers in 2019 .
Looking forward to many miles of good motoring and a lot of etype forum activity!
Cheers
Erik

Welcome back EriK
Those keyfobs have increased in value somewhat but this new book will help you find what you are looking for or an alternative:
You can view a sample of 32 pages here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/e2im4gsstezao ... s.pdf?dl=0
The book can be ordered directly from his publisher -- Dalton Watson Fine Books. More info here: https://www.daltonwatson.com/SearchResults.asp?Cat=2024

Welcome back Erik, good to note that you have been enjoying driving again and taking care of your car.
Sure would love to join and offer assistance for a gathering and rallye event, count me in.

The title of this thread made me think - "Old member" and "Re-entry" may be very appropriate for some of us on here....

I don't spring to mind then, Malcolm?
Welcome back, Erik. Nice to see that you still have your car. Get out and enjoy it when the time permits
