Im looking for a new battery for my Series 3 and there doesn't seem to be many C34959 batteries about - can anyone suggest an equivalent please.

I have Bosch S4 026 in mine, seem durable and fit well.
Not original appearance though.

Not an odd size. Motorcraft, Exide, several other manufacturers make a replacement. No worries.

Nowhere near an original look. A bit on the expensive side, but worth it IMHO.

Hi Bernie...saw it on their web page so assumed they would have them :banghead: Just had a search on JL site and the group 35 battery is suggested as almost identical in size and terminal position to the original.....search group 35 for lots of options....Steve

Hi Bernie
As long as your not looking for concourse I bought a battery from Halfords.
All I did was lightly sand the edges/corners and the plate fits like a glove and also in the battery tray and the terminals are the right way round. I will stick some LUCAS labels on at some time.

Bit more money than you quote but does the job.
