Dear all,
my namee is Patrick Schnaufer. I live near Stuttgart in the south of Germany. I bought a E Type FHC Series 1, RHD.
I want to change to LHD. Crazy world... 8-)
If you have some parts left, please contact me.

You would be better to sell your RHD car in the UK where it would attract a premium and buy a LHD car.

Patrick, welcome to the forum where you'll get lots of help and advice.

What abowie says is good advice, what condition is your RHD car in? Definitely consider selling it in Britain. Maybe get in touch with Angus Moss (1954EType is his name on here), he may know of a good LHD car for exchange.

Good luck

Hello Patrick,

Where exactly are you located? I am also from the Stuttgart-area (Winnenden). Since last autumn, I am the proud owner of a S3-OTS. At the moment, my car is at a garage, specialised in E-Types. :waiting:

where near Stuttgart specialises in eTypes? Would be useful to know, for emergencies for me, or also people on continental trips. That might be worth a sticky thread or KB article. Steve/David?

Hi Patrick
Welcome
I believe S1 RHD Etype’s enjoy a 10-20% increase in Value over the LHD models. So...if you can avoid converting it then it would be financially (if not emotionally) better.
As others have said there are many more LHDs available

Good luck anyway

Patrick,

you might want to reconsider having your address public. You can edit your post, and give the address as a private message if the need arises.
