Trying to rotate the turn signal housing so it will cancel. It also slants down and hits my knee. Any suggestions?

Turn signal adjustment
#2 Re: Turn signal adjustment
Hi Chuck,
IIRC The correct rotational switch position is set by engaging a raised button pressed into C31756, one of the two halves of the bracket which clamps the switch to the steering column, with a hole in the column housing C29134.
This picture shows the feature although the bracket is mounted 180deg out.
Self cancelling is adjusted by rotating the nylon sleeve part of the switch using the slotted clamp C25520 then fixing it such that the trip feature of the sleeve is mid way between the two "flippers" on the switch when the steering is straight ahead.
