#1 Bonnet plug boot
Hi all, anyone know if the rubber boot for the 8 pin plug is available on its own please. Plug itself is fine, ideally just need the boot. Many thanks. Chris.

Problem will be getting it on the loom - the new ones are poly rather than rubber. Not easy to un-solder the 50 year old joints and get them back without damage but doable.

Which means there is every chance that Moss in the UK can get them as they bought the parts side of XKS Unlimited a while ago.
It was certainly the case for the stainless reservoir sender units that used to be unique to XKS Unlimited. I ordered them from my local Moss branch and avoided the carriage and duty.
Based on e mails and literature I’ve had, they seem to be pushing the Jaguar stuff.Worth asking.

I asked Moss for their price for the stainless reservoir senders: circa £58 each that's twice the $29.99 XKs Unlimited charge.288gto wrote: ↑Thu Oct 31, 2019 5:37 pm

Their excuse was they've had to do all the expensive thing of importing them and paying all the carriage and duty, etc.
And a very unfriendly attitude when I pointed out the exorbitant price uplift
