#1 Virtual classic car show

Post by mystery type » Sun Mar 29, 2020 10:46 am

Dear forum members, I would like to invite you all to attend my virtual classic car show.
Venue…here
Date….now
Rules…The more varied the display of vehicles the better, but as this is an E type forum all those attending the show must include at least a glimpse Of an E.
Refreshments will be available throughout the day ( if you have access to a kitchen)
Dogs and children are welcome so bring the family.
Judging will be done on conclusion of the show,
I hope you enjoy the day, but that we don’t have a repeat next year.

Marshal…good morning sir, please park next to the Austin and MG.

This looks like a car show primarily for Fixed Head Coupes only. All cars welcome.
Which way to the bar ?

Not something you see every day - three commemoratives together. The second photo was taken in Florida when I interviewed Walter Hill. His was the most fabulous collection of Jaguars, including this commemorative and #27 RHD E-type.

Some great pics so far, but what I had In mind, was a collection of MIXED classic cars.
The like of which you would find at a classic vehicle gathering/show.
(Like the pics posted #3 and #7 & #8.)
So to promote the show and encourage some motorbikes and commercial vehicles to attend (with an e type in view)
I am offering half price drinks in the beer tent!

Hi Mark
Baston is always a good show, although in recent years it has got very ‘commercial’. I’m a couple of villages down the A15 from there. I see you are also in South Lincs - Do you ever go to the Great North Road meetings at Stibbington Diner or the 2nd Weds monthly meets at the 5 Horseshoes in Barholm?

Actually, that day was one of the best days out I have ever had. Other cars parked, just like mine scattered around the lawn of my local stately pile.....
