I've managed to source a replacement LH quarter light frame to replace mine which had been repaired, but the seal that sits between the glass and the frame doesn't leap out of my browser. Woolies supply rubber stripping in various thicknesses starting at 1/32" so I'm guessing that's the way to go? A few V cuts in the tight curve by the latch should get it to sit properly?
What have others done??

SNGB make finding parts a breeeze.
Go here
https://www.sngbarratt.com/uk/#!/English/Downloads
and download the current 6 cylinder catalogue as a pdf.
Drill down to S2 > rear quarter lights and trim. Find the seal; #7 on the diagram.
Search SNGB site for BD 20500/4 https://www.sngbarratt.com/English/#/UK ... 20light%60
With the right information you can find things easily.

Hi Steve Hi Andrew
Yes it's the thin seal sandwiched between the glass and the frame, not between the frame and the body. I left the old frame complete with glass soaking over night, and extricated the glass this morning without incident. Measuring the glass and the gap in the frame, it looks as though the 1/32" rubber strip will be right.
As an aside, I placed a wanted ad for the frame on the JEC website, and the guy that replied has all but finished building a low drag car. He's made an absolutely stunning job.

Andy,
I believe you are talking about "glass setting tape".
SNG state they have "door glass channel seal", which I think may be the same thing:

My bad.
What you want is glazing rubber https://www.sngbarratt.com/English/#/UK ... d64abdbb3a
Note that it comes in a number of different thicknesses, depending on what window you are using it on. You should be able to work out what you need by measuring your frame and glass.
I usually buy it from our local rubber supplier so Woolies would be a good choice.
This stuff can be hard to fit. Depending on who you talk to you either use a liquid soap solution or soak it in kerosene. For door windows I cheat and use a few short segments to get the glass centred in the frame then fill in the rest with caulk.

I used rubber from old inner tubes to do mine. I left plenty of excess material on and then used a scalpel to cut it back flush with the frame for a nice neat edge.
They are a bit of hassle to fit but I used slightly diluted liquid soap and a small plastic mallet.
