#1 S2 rear lights

Post by gib6933 » Sun Apr 27, 2008 2:09 pm

Hello all my first post here so I hope I am not going to be thrown out for asking this.
I am planning to go and have a look at a s2 fhc next weekend, and I was wondering if the rear lights could be changed to s1 lights? Did they change the shape of the car around the lights or are they just different lights in a slightly different place?

Sorry for my spelling and grammar and general English it was a very late night last night

thank you!

Depends on how much money you want to spend. No real way of changing the rear lights without considerable bodywork modification, new rear bumpers and a repaint. Could dramatically affect the value of the car as well - downwards!

You can however change the front headlights to a cowled version similar to the S1 using this kit:

It is reversible and requires no body modification or paint work.

That is a shame as I really do love the original rear lights and an S1 is going to be out of my price I suspect.
I do like the cowled headlights that would be on my list of to do thank you!
