Radios were normally a dealer fit, therefore there are no formal fitting instructions.
Removing the old one and fitting a new radio is something most competent handymen can do by simply taking the old one out, noting connections and fitting the new one into place.
Remove the centre console, there are nuts/bolts one the side.

If you can't manage this approach then you would be best getting an auto electrics person to do the job.

One thing to check is that the new radio is indeed negative earth....by 67 your car should be. Some radios of the time were suitable for both negative and positive earth dependant on the position of a switch somewhere on the radio. Make sure it is set correctly as if it is not then the set will be destroyed if you connect it. If it is only suitable for positive earth cars you will need an external supply converter to use the radio.
