#1 Government scrappage scheme

Post by mach2andy » Sun Feb 04, 2018 6:56 am

Some of you may have read the story about the Standard 10 that was part exchanged under the Ford scrappage scheme for a brand new transit van. A petition has been started "Make it illegal for Historic Vehicles to be processed through scrappage schemes."

Good call Andy and thanks for letting us know, but it needs a lot more support from everyone with a historic vehicle interest to get to government debate level by June 18 :fingerscrossed: :helpsign:

I spotted this item in the latest newsletter of the Southern Classics club that I'm a member of. I've disseminated this through this forum and the Classic Corvette club. If any of you also belong to other forums or clubs, perhaps you'd do the same?
