Hi Carsten,
It's into the 2 air tunnels of the bonnet. There is foam on the 2 small faces of the part fixed with rivets.

I have the felt plus the split-rivets, bit no idea where to fit them. Do you have a picture of their place ?

Hm, that is near the radiator stoneguard frame. I‘ll have a look for holes that would fit nearby.
Thanks !

Hi Carsten,
I dont know if these will help; they are not mine, I got them off the internet.
You will see that there is a gap between the two brackets that hold the ducts to the bonnet centre section. You should also see a bolt hole in the the duct in this position. the filler panels bolt to this and at the front, to the front of the panel where the headlight bolts.
Take it from me, they are quite difficult to fit :-(

...I‘ll dig in there tomorrow- Plan is to finish the glue works, then let it sit for another 3 days, then take it apart and primer it.

Today I had a look and found the spot. Many thanks for helping me, I‘ll re‘ fit them there when time has arrived. Today I started priming another small parts batch, and glued in the remaining flanges.
Next is to re-glue the wing stiffeners / flanges, its all loose, only kept in place because they are welded on their ends.
Its good progress at the moment.
