Hazard flasher can on LHS dash behind glovebox . Now to solve the hazard switch problem???

The standard round blinker flasher can is in the centre of the back of the dash, next to the rectangular relay 33285B. Geoff

S2 1971 E has separate flasher can, where is it located? The wiring diagram shows the hazard switch terminals numbered 1-6,in a certain order, on my switch the numbers are in different positions shown on the back of the switch. Which should I follow the actual position of the terminals on the switch...
