as a matter of fact, I bought that 7299 filter, but I was convinced I needed the paper filter too.
By pure chance, I looked at a 65 FHC, yesterday in a local show, and it had no paper filter: the glass bowl was empty, just full of fuel.
My quest was not justified, then.

Well, time to explain how I got through this issue. I elected to grind the thinner shim, from the thinnest available at SNG.
